The Best Gluten-Free Pizza Options For Celiacs

Who doesn’t like Italian food? Everyone, right? Who doesn’t like hanging out with friends and family on a Saturday night with delicious food on the table? Everyone, right? I don’t know about you but when it comes to weekends I like to spend less time cooking and more time resting, relaxing, and eating something tasty. Even if I don’t rest, I like enjoying eating something delicious, something that is ready to eat and that doesn’t require so much effort to make. My husband and I try to eat our “cheat meal” during the weekend. It’s not like we eat a cheat meal every weekend, but once in a while when we don’t feel like cooking, we choose to eat something that is not very processed but still delicious. When we moved into NY we first started eating Thai food as our cheat meals, but we then realized that it wasn’t the healthiest option. Very oily and lots of condiments bothered our stomachs. We chose to look for something different. I particularly love pizza, in fact, it is one of my favorite food. But who doesn’t like pizza? I don’t know anyone who doesn’t. I have tried to make homemade pizza in the past and the results have been terrible. 

I can say that pizza is that one only meal that I really prefer buying than making it because it hasn’t turned out to be good. I’m not sure if it has been the recipes that I have found online or the ingredients brands that I have bought but I haven’t been able to make a good homemade pizza. But anyway, for those pizza lovers that prefer buying a delicious and tasty gluten-free pizza ready to cook in the oven, I put together a list of options so you can save time going online and looking for which brands are good and which ones aren’t. Without a doubt my favorite (and my husband’s too) gluten-free pizza brand so far is Against the Grain. I never thought I was going to find such a tasty free from gluten food product that I was going to end up loving so much. I’m not even eating it because it is gluten-free but because it is DELICIOUS. My husband and I are obsessed with Against the Grain’s products. Every time we want a cheat meal or we don’t feel like cooking, we don’t even have to think about what we want, we always know what we want, and the answer is simple: Against the Grain’s Pepperoni Pizza.  

Our freezer looks like a Supermarket shelf with all of their products, that’s how bad we love this brand and of course it’s 100% recommended because Against the Grain is one of the gluten-free brands that we have tested multiple times, and my husband, whose gluten intolerance is so high, has never had issues with cross-contamination nor anything related to gluten after eating any of their products.  

They also have other delicious pizza options like Classic Flatbread Pizza, Fiesta Flatbread Pizza, Three Cheese Pizza, Pesto Pizza, and Pizza Shells. We have tried almost all of them but our favorite alternative is the Pepperoni Pizza. You don’t have to worry about taste or feeling sick after eating because all of their products are made in a gluten-free facility and they use no co-packers for celiacs’ peace of mind.  

Another great option for eating celiac safe pizzas is Better 4U.  

For people concerned about food intolerances and allergies to gluten and dairy, this company offers delicious natural products that will definitely bring joy to your table.

I came across this brand that my husband and I haven’t tried yet, but it looks great.  

They make all of their products with cauliflower. Yes, it’s that healthy!  

Did you know that cauliflowers are low in fat, high in nutrients, vitamin C, vitamin K, Omega-3 and manganese?  

Now imagine eating this beneficial vegetable in your pizza. 

This is exactly what Caulipower is doing. They include this super healthy and natural ingredient in all of their gluten-free food products.

Relying on good and safe brands is the most important thing when you have family members who are celiacs, so I won’t think about it twice and I will be trying Conte’s Pasta with Matt soon. 

Another great option for your pizza night is the brand Frozen Specialties, Inc. This company began in 1969 and pursued what their vision was: to make the best frozen pizzas. Some people take for granted eating and feeling good, but for other people that doesn’t happen naturally, that’s why it’s so important to rely on good and safe brands.
